Before joining Burjeel Medical City, Dr Quadri served as Director, North American Center for Gastroenterology and Research, Jacksonville, Florida, USA. After acquiring a Fellowship in General Gastroenterology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA, he did an Advanced Therapeutic Procedure Fellowship at St. Lukes Medical Centre, under the same University. Dr Quadri is a Gastroenterologist who is certified by the American Board for Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Some of his achievements include Best Resident of the Year, Texas Tech University, the Lawlor Award from the American College of Gastroenterology, and was awarded the position of ‘Top Gastroenterologist’ for three consecutive years by the Jacksonville Magazine of Florida. Over a period of several years of senior medical practice, Dr Quadri has authored more than 30 publications on the subjects on which he has specialized his practice.
At Burjeel Medical City, Dr Abdulhadi Quadri is a Consultant to both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Departments. His rich and varied experience and background is an inspiration to many a doctor who work under him at the hospital and Dr Quadri offers sufficient time and energy in grooming his team of medical specialists in the chosen field. His area of expertise includes minimally invasive endoscopic treatments for obesity and weight loss (balloons, ESG), swallowing disorders (achalasia, diffuse spasm, POEM procedure) Gerd, superficial benign and early cancerous lesions removal, therapeutic ERCP (pancreatic and Biliary) and endoscopic ultrasound (cancer diagnosis and therapeutics). He also treats various general Gastroenterology conditions with keen interest. Dr Quadri is an amicable personality who is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu.
