Agnieszka Wilczynska is a Professor of Psychology at Universities in Poland and in UAE. She is the author of three books and more than 120 articles (24IF). Professor Agnieszka is licensed Clinical Psychologist in Dubai (DHA) and in Abu Dhabi (DOH). She is a certified Psychotherapist of the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy (Vienna; Austria) with more than 25 years of clinical experiences.
She is TEDx Speaker and Visiting Professor at University of Verona, Bradford College, University of Minnesota and some others. Her work revolves mainly on the topic of the psychology of emotional exclusion, the sense of social rejection and loneliness in our societies nowadays.
Her new book ‘Multidisciplinary Perspectives on the Psychology of Exclusion: From rejection to personal and social harmony’ (2020, Routledge offers insights from perspectives of psychological and biochemical research - explaining the role of the brain, mind, and body in the development of a sense of belonging.
Her clinical programs emphasis on safe and effective treatment, patient empowerment, and whole person healing, develop a healing plan specific to patient’s needs and provides individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents, family therapy and couple therapy. She focuses on well-being, mental health maintenance, and early intervention and in self-care techniques to empower patients to take control of their own mental health and support whole-person healing and well-being.
Dr. Agni draws on a wealth of experiencing and works proactively with clients to help them understand and positively change patterns of thinking and behavior which hold them back in life. She enables clients to discover a greater range of choice and possibility in their lives.
