Board-certified Fellow of Egyptian Ministry of Health, Dr. Lemia Elfatih
Abdalla Salim earned her bachelor's degree in medical science 2004 from the
Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, International University of Africa,
Sudan. This was followed by a 2-year Internship at several hospitals in Sudan.
In 2007, she started a master's degree in Cardiology from Cairo University, Egypt.
Between 2009
and 2014 Dr. Lemia worked on her Emergency Medicine Certificate Fellowship
program and subsequently worked as a Resident Doctor of Emergency Medicine at various
hospitals under the Ministry of Health, Egypt. She has a Diploma in Disaster
Management for Health Professionals from the Arab Institute.
After
completing her education, Dr. Lemia worked with different reputed hospitals in
Sudan for 5 years. In 2020, she re-located to the UAE, where she joined at
Sheikh Khalifa Specialty Hospital as an Emergency Medicine Specialist. Besides
her clinical practice, she gained the experience of training over 2000 medical
professionals at the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), Education Development
Centre-Sudan Medical Specialization Board (EDC-SMSB), Ibrahim Malik Development
Center (IMDC), the Center for Professional Development (CPD), and Ahmed Gasim
Hospital.
Dr. Lemia
has also upgraded her knowledge base by attending several training courses,
workshops, and conferences.
