Khawlah Khaled is a Bachelor of Psychology (B.Sc.) Degree holder from the College of Natural and Health Sciences, Zayed University, Abu Dhabi. She is a young, energetic and highly motivated personality who pursues a career of accomplishments in the field of Psychology as applied to healthcare, specializing in the procedures and techniques of investigation leading to identifiable solutions, she finds effective communication as an important tool to manage any issue or situation in an organization.
Over the past 5 years, Khawlah Khaled applied his learning across several assignments, the last one being that of a Volunteer at SEHA Employees Psychological Support Helpline where he continues to serve even till date. One of the responsibilities assigned to him at this organization is to offer telephonic response and psychological counselling to the healthcare staff of SEHA, who take up frontline duties of data collection, recording and analysis during the Covid-19. He also attends to calls that require psychological interventions and follows up on cases of critical nature.
Prior to the above, Khawlah Khaled was an Intern at the Zayed University's Psycho-Social Response Team focussing on Covid-19. The assignment comprised data search, literature review, summary reports and online data collection work, connected to the psychological implications of persons affected by the pandemic.
